They'll probably just add 6 minutes to the timetable and you'll be stuck with a bloated timetable.Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12315638406178959881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6259450140022648201.post-30841378973527089022016-10-08T07:11:11.542+10:002016-10-08T07:11:11.542+10:00Interesting, I had thought that it was odd there w...Interesting, I had thought that it was odd there was only one crossover close to the station. I didn't know the details. I don't think that accounts for the whole 6 minutes though. The trip from Rothwell to Kippa-Ring is slow but not that long. Yesterday's train was only just getting to Rothwell when it should have already well and truly been in at Kippa-Ring.David Findlayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15522802558203645217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6259450140022648201.post-10440457425102378682016-10-07T21:55:57.557+10:002016-10-07T21:55:57.557+10:00David - it wouldn't surprise me if the sub-opt...David - it wouldn't surprise me if the sub-optimal track crossover layout at Kippa-Ring is the cause. http://brizcommuter.blogspot.com.au/2015/11/kippa-ring-crossover-crazyness.htmlBrizCommuterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06579844974945172195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6259450140022648201.post-77761036370549413322016-10-07T19:35:38.383+10:002016-10-07T19:35:38.383+10:00As a Kippa-Ring commuter one thing I've noted ...As a Kippa-Ring commuter one thing I've noted is that every train is arriving at Kippa-Ring 6 minutes later than scheduled. i.e. the train due 5:54 arrived at 6:00, the train due 6:00 arrive at 6:06, the 5:00 arrived at 5:07. I raised it on Twitter with Queensland Rail and they've cited "operational issues". So presumably they expect in the future to meet the timetable, but something at the moment means it takes 6 minutes longer to get to Kippa-Ring than it's scheduled. I'm not sure where the 6 minutes is being lost as I've not seen particular stops along the way.
